Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed nurse, utilizing techniques that cater to the individual needs of each client.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including writing progress notes that detail the client's progress towards treatment goals, ensuring all notes are legible and completed by the end of each shift.

• Observing and recording pertinent information about clients that may inform their treatment plans, adjusting approaches as necessary based on observation and feedback.
\n
• Providing direct assistance to clients in managing personal needs and orienting them and their families to therapeutic processes and resources available within our services.
\n
• Advocating for clients by identifying their needs and connecting them with additional services or resources when appropriate, enhancing their overall well-being.

• Responding to emergencies and client behavioral changes effectively, using your training in crisis management and de-escalation techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and other mental health challenges. Our team emphasizes a family-centered approach, ensuring clients of all ages feel supported in their therapeutic journey. You'll participate in developing comprehensive treatment plans that address mental health concerns holistically, recognizing the unique experiences and needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an independent license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) issued by the state board; provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, showing empathy and understanding in all interactions.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
