Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have a range of responsibilities, including:

• Providing direct clinical services to clients facing major mental illnesses and/or severe emotional disorders, both in remote sessions and during community outreach.

• Participating effectively as a team member to enhance collective goals, ensuring all interactions are centered around collaboration and client empowerment.

• Practicing cultural competence by engaging respectfully with clients from various backgrounds, beliefs, and styles of communication.

• Maintaining compliance with professional ethical guidelines while fostering a safe treatment environment.

• Conducting brief, evidence-based assessments, and where necessary, referring clients for more detailed evaluations.

• Developing and executing integrated care plans that include input from clients, families, and other healthcare providers.

• Offering a spectrum of therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Monitoring and documenting client progress through timely updates and assessments, ensuring all treatment aligns with presenting issues and individual client goals.

• Managing a caseload with compassion, conducting regular check-ins, and providing crisis intervention as necessary.

• Participating in committees focused on enhancing service delivery and quality improvement within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving the behavioral health needs of individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to mental health services. You will work with clients from various socioeconomic backgrounds, including those who are economically disadvantaged, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary to improve their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or an equivalent field of study.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.
