Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments with clients to discuss their personal goals, preferences, and available counseling options.

• Develop personalized therapeutic plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, taking into account their education levels, capabilities, and aspirations.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and mental health professionals, to design and implement client-centered rehabilitation programs.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive case files and documentation that detail each client's information, treatment progress, interactions, and clinical recommendations.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, documenting advancements to ensure goals are achieved or adjusted as necessary.

• Support clients actively engaged in job training or occupational placement programs, helping resolve any issues that may arise during their journey.

• Engage with clients’ families to explore how best to meet the clients’ needs and support their rehabilitation process.

• Provide timely assessments and documentation of client needs, making well-informed recommendations for additional resources when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are navigating mental health challenges, including mood disorders, trauma, and anxiety-related conditions. Our telepsychology model allows for flexibility in accommodating varying client circumstances, ensuring equitable access to therapeutic support. You will play a crucial role in empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated experience providing mental health treatment in either a residential or outpatient setting with documented success.

• A team-oriented mindset with a passion for fostering positive change in clients' lives.

• Strong clinical competencies in techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
