Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Quality TechnicianPM Mold is seeking a Quality Technician to help us take our Injection Molding Quality department to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our growing company by assisting to ensure the smooth operations of our facilities. Under the direction of the Quality Manager, this role will support the production department through first piece, in-process and final inspections, early non-conformance detection and reporting of defective products. If this is your passion and expertise, we'd love to hear from you!Duties & Responsibilities:Will be performing injection molding dimensional inspection. Verifies first piece and end of run samples. Evaluate parts, record results. Identify dimensional and visual defects using Quality Standard Check. Will complete and maintain records. Approve and reject parts based on test results and standards. Also, will inspect finished parts and conduct dock audits as specified in proceduresRequirements:Knowledge of ISO and other related quality system standardsAbility to operate inspection/lab equipmentStrong math skillsStrong leadership abilities and good communication skillsUnderstanding basic blueprint reading principles, understanding quality principles and practices.Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparatorComputer skills – Excel/WordExcellent Attendance MandatoryCorrective/Preventative Actions Report experience2-5 years prior quality inspection experiencePlastics/Molding experience a plusBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
