LPN/LVNJob Title: LPN/LVN Profession: LPN/LVN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current LPN/LVN license required Certifications: CPR certification required Must-Have: Ability to access portacath or the willingness to learn Description: General information about the unit includes a total of 25 beds. Patient ratios are typically 1:4-1:5. Unit staffing includes patient care technicians on most shifts. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include working three 12-hour shifts with every third weekend off. The unit has been newly renovated and features a new call bell system. New vital sign machines, scales, and IV pumps have also been introduced. One day and one night shift can be granted as PTO at one time.
