Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office in Fords, NJ, designed to create an inviting and therapeutic atmosphere for both clients and staff. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, engaging with a team of like-minded professionals who prioritize patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to patients, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Maintain an effective and balanced patient caseload, allowing for personalized attention and the highest quality of rehabilitation interventions.
• Leveraging your orthopedic expertise, deliver hands-on therapeutic techniques, emphasizing the importance of manual therapy and patient engagement.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create and implement structured treatment plans aimed at optimizing patient recovery and function.
• Facilitate ongoing evaluations and adjustments to care plans according to patient progress and outcomes, ensuring that treatment remains aligned with evolving health goals.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide a comprehensive care approach, nurturing collaborative relationships among colleagues and specialists.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly using EMR software, ensuring accuracy for compliance and continuity of care.
• Advocate for patient health and wellness by promoting active participation in rehabilitation programs that emphasize strength, flexibility, and mobility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect their musculoskeletal health. You will work closely with athletes, active adults, and older adults who require specialized rehabilitation to regain their function and improve their everyday lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is essential.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey with a clean professional history, free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise regimens for diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for effective documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to staying current with the latest research and practices in physical therapy and orthopedic care.

Preferred Experience

While we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, we also value a strong foundation in collaborative care and patient education. Experience with diverse patient demographics and conditions will be a plus, enabling you to develop a well-rounded understanding of rehabilitation strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
