Job Details Location: MPM - Manitowoc, WI 54220 Position Type: Full Time Shift: 2nd shift Monday – Thursday (10-hour shift), 3 pm – 1 am 2nd shift Quality Inspector | Manitowoc Pattern & Machining Location: 1445 Dufek Drive, Manitowoc, WI Where You Make an Impact Perform hourly surface finish checks to ensure parts meet spec Conduct in-process inspections during production runs Accurately complete inspection check sheets (attention to detail matters here) Use precision measuring tools and gauges with confidence Identify quality concerns early and work closely with production teams to solve them Help maintain compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 standards Support continuous improvement What You Bring High School diploma or equivalent Experience using gages and measuring tools Understanding of surface finish inspection Basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) A sharp eye, steady hands, and a mindset that says: “let’s get it right the first time” Who You Are Detail‑obsessed (in a good way) Organized and accurate with documentation Comfortable speaking up when something isn’t right A team player who works well with operators and supervisors Someone who takes ownership of quality—not just responsibility You are the last line of defense between a good part and a great one.
