Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Century Road Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, specifically focusing on mood disorders.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Applying evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients through their recovery journeys.

• Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.

• Monitoring client progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated treatment approach that addresses both psychological and medical aspects of care.

• Maintaining accurate, secure, and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and client communications in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participating in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Advocating for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work closely with clients of various backgrounds, providing tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at improving their mental health outcomes. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, to effectively address mood disorders.

• A strong foundation in psychopharmacology to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n
