Account Executive - In-Territory (SF/Bay Area, CA)

Responsibilities Manage your own book of business, build and maintain an end-to-end sales pipeline, and meet or exceed quotas. Establish a presence in your territory, research market dynamics, and develop a marketing and networking plan to reach entrepreneurs and small businesses. Proactively prospect for new business using market research, sales tools, and cold outreach. Understand and communicate the value proposition to potential customers. Advocate for customer needs throughout the organization and suggest product improvements. Represent Justworks as an ambassador, gaining comprehensive knowledge of our suite of products. Travel within the SF/Bay Area territory. Perform additional duties as required by the department or organization. Competencies Good judgment: analyze problems, assess risks, and own outcomes. Detail-oriented: maintain accuracy, organization, and productivity. Foundational sales knowledge: proficiency in prospecting, cold calling, nurturing, presenting, negotiating, and closing. Results-driven: achieve goals even in challenging circumstances. Clear communication: articulate ideas effectively through oral, written, and visual channels, and listen actively. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience as an Account Executive with at least 1 year managing a complete, consultative sales cycle. Experience in B2B lead generation in a high-velocity setting (SaaS, PEO, fintech). Proficiency with Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and/or ZoomInfo is required; Outreach.io, HubSpot, 6Sense, and/or Hoovers/D&B are a plus. Cold-calling experience is required. Hunter mentality: dedicated to acquiring new prospects, closing deals, and generating results. Passionate about sales and relationship-focused customer engagement. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen and gather essential information. Ability to simplify complex topics and explain them clearly. Creative problem solver in a fast-paced environment. Enjoys entrepreneurial environments and building meaningful solutions. Travel within the territory up to 25% of the time for networking events, trade shows, and client meetings. This position is paid a base wage plus incentive compensation. The base wage range for the SF/Bay Area office is $90,000.00. Target on‑target earnings, including incentive compensation, are $170,000.00.
