This position is 100% remote, providing flexibility for therapists to manage their schedules while working in a supportive virtual environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs—this includes facilitating intake appointments and using standardized assessment tools.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that draw on evidence-based practices, adapting therapeutic strategies in real-time to best meet client needs.

• Provide therapy services to individuals, groups, and families, employing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—this includes working closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and community resources to ensure comprehensive client care and maintain continuity.

• Offer crisis intervention services when clients are in acute distress, applying your clinical skills to assess risk and provide immediate support.

• Participate in community initiatives, including outreach programs and educational workshops, dedicated to raising awareness around mental health issues and reducing stigma.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Max Care Counseling Services, you will serve a culturally diverse client population, including individuals from various ethnic, economic, and social backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish therapeutic rapport and communicate effectively with clients.

• Cultural competence and a sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Highly organized with good time-management skills to handle documentation and follow-up care effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing telehealth services or familiarity with telehealth platforms is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
