Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, using telehealth technology to connect with students and their families. Our work hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, although some evening shifts and rotating weekend availability may be required to meet the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with a variety of special needs, ensuring a complete understanding of their emotional and social challenges.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing students' emotional well-being, including interventions that facilitate their integration into the school community.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, managing cases that involve ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma.
\n
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, fostering personal development and equipping students with strategies for emotional regulation and coping.
\n
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support in mental health emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
\n
• Educate students and families about mental health conditions and connect them with available resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices and new research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You’ll be working primarily with students facing a myriad of mental health challenges, including those on the autism spectrum or with learning and behavioral issues. Our aim is to promote their growth within an educational context, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience is preferred, with a comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders.

• Ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans effectively.
\n
• Strong capability in delivering both individual and group therapy, using varied therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Outstanding crisis intervention skills and an ability to manage stressful situations calmly.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with sound judgment and a firm commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a telehealth environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
