Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional and psychological health, actively engaging them in the assessment process.

• Evaluate clients’ needs and goals to create, implement, and monitor tailored treatment plans leveraging methodologies such as Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, drawing from a multitude of therapeutic approaches to address specific mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
\n
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication strategies, resolving interpersonal conflicts, and enhancing relationship dynamics.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical records, including detailed progress notes and updates to treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Regularly review client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to align with evolving client needs and therapy goals.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers to deliver coordinated and holistic care.
\n
• Prepare to provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, employing techniques that prioritize client safety and well-being.

• Commit to continuous learning by staying informed about the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

• Adhere to the highest ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality of client information and advocating for clients’ rights throughout their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including adolescents, adults, and couples. This variety necessitates a flexible and adaptive therapeutic approach to effectively address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns. As a therapist, you will play a significant role in supporting clients who may be experiencing challenges related to relationships, parenting, life transitions, stress, and mental illness. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) issued by the State Board of Tennessee.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and experience in their application in both individual and couple settings.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems, with excellent documentation skills for client assessments and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with children and families or diverse populations is a plus.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations effectively.

• Prior experience in a remote work setting would be advantageous, particularly familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
