School-Based Therapist

Eastchester Family Services (EFS) is a nationally accredited community-based organization designed to meet the diverse needs of today’s families by effectively integrating behavioral health and primary care services to improve clinical outcomes, access to health care, and overall quality of life for all clients and their families. We are seeking a seeking compassionate and dependable full-time, School-Based Therapist to provide on-site support at a local Atlanta school. This position works collaboratively with students, families, school personnel, and agency staff to address social, emotional, behavioral, and environmental barriers that may affect student well-being and academic success. The duties of this role will include providing individual, family, and group therapies; crisis intervention; and facilitating BPS assessments. Candidates must reside in Georgia and be able to commute to the assigned school, office or designated meeting place. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group support to students Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop appropriate service plans Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support Connect students and families with community resources and services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, caregivers, and behavioral health providers Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation Participate in school meetings, care coordination, and multidisciplinary team activities Qualifications Minimum of a master’s degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Human Services, Social Work, Psychology). Current Georgia LMSW or LCSW license preferred Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or school communities Strong communication, crisis-management, and documentation skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school and agency teams Successful completion of required background checks and drug test This is a full-time, school-based position performed primarily on-site during established school hours.
