Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Crestwood Behavioral Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and providing accurate diagnoses to students with varying psychological needs.

• Formulating individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and developing clear therapeutic goals aligned with students' needs.

• Facilitating weekly psychotherapy sessions for patients on your established caseload, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual.

• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of educators, counselors, and families to coordinate and optimize patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention when necessary and implementing immediate care strategies to support students in distress.

• Adhering to all policies and procedures, including compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations, to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents facing diverse mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and trauma-related concerns. Supporting students from various backgrounds, you will notably work with those exhibiting symptoms associated with geriatric conditions such as early-onset dementia and other neurocognitive disorders, where appropriate.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in Georgia.

• Strong foundational understanding of mental illness diagnosis and treatment, particularly in pediatric populations.
