Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand the mental health concerns, strengths, and needs of students in the school environment.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

• Collaborate with educational staff, including teachers and school psychologists, to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with educational goals.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention and perform risk assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students in acute distress.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies.
\n
• Lead psychoeducational workshops, support groups, and parent education sessions aimed at fostering understanding and resilience within the school community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing a range of psychological challenges. You will engage with students from diverse backgrounds, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet their unique cultural, social, and developmental needs. The goal is to empower these young individuals, helping them build resilience and cope with pressures related to academic performance, peer relationships, and familial expectations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
