Job Details Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Setting: Adult high-acuity ICU Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 21, 2026 Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040 Weekend Coverage: Required; minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block Float: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed Orientation: 36 hours Patient Ratio: 1:1–2 Charting System: Epic Job Requirements Active RN license in hand at time of submission At least 1 year of CVICU RN, ICU, or critical care nursing experience required; 2 years preferred BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Epic experience required Strong background in high-acuity cardiac, cardiovascular, and postoperative ICU patient care Ability to work rotating holidays, weekends, and occasional floating assignments Travel nursing experience preferred Responsibilities Provide expert bedside care for adult CVICU patients with complex cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and post-surgical needs Monitor and manage advanced critical care therapies and equipment such as ventilators, Swan-Ganz lines, IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT, and ventricular assist devices Administer and titrate cardiac drips, vasoactive medications, IV sedation, and other critical infusions per protocol Interpret telemetry, dysrhythmias, ABGs, and hemodynamic data to support rapid clinical decision-making in a fast-paced ICU Support procedures including chest tube management, central line care, arterial line management, and procedural sedation monitoring Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and other interdisciplinary healthcare partners Deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality patient care in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care environment Why This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
