Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' mental health needs to diagnose disorders and establish effective treatment plans tailored to individual requirements.

• Implement and adjust customized coping strategies to facilitate patient recovery and enhance their ability to manage day-to-day challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with patients to set achievable goals, providing the necessary resources and support to help them attain personal milestones.
\n
• Offer guidance to both patients and staff on effective stress management and trauma-informed care techniques, fostering an understanding of these mechanisms.

• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback.
\n
• Engage with external social and medical agencies, community outreach programs, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient support and accessibility to additional services.

• Stay informed on the latest practices in mental health counseling by completing mandatory continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals who have experienced trauma and are coping with various mental health challenges. You will be pivotal in helping these patients develop resilience and a sense of hope, guiding them through their unique journeys toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.

• A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with trauma patients, demonstrating expertise in trauma-informed care.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, facilitating effective documentation and communication.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills to engage and support patients effectively.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly advantageous.

• Experience with multidisciplinary approaches in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
