Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored instruction and support to students with mild to moderate exceptionalities
• Managing a caseload of approximately 20-25 students with diverse learning needs
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring student progress and adapting strategies to maximize growth and achievement
• Fostering a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere that celebrates each child’s potential

Qualifications & experience we’re seeking:

• Current Arizona teaching licensure in Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Cross-Categorical Special Education
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or related position in a school setting
• Strong understanding of best practices in differentiated instructional techniques
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Passion for advocating for the success of students with special needs

This position offers campus hours of 7:45 AM – 2:45 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with early release on Thursdays at 12:45 PM—providing a balanced schedule that allows for both professional growth and personal fulfillment.
