Experienced and passionate Special Education Teachers are sought for multiple onsite positions at several elementary sites. These contract positions offer flexibility, with both full-time and part-time schedules available, and run through late May 2027.

Current openings include:

• Self-contained educator for a behavior program, ideal for those with CPI certification and behavioral support background.
• Cross-category self-contained teachers for students in the MID cognitive range, second grade.
• Special needs preschool teacher, ideal for those holding Early Childhood and Special Education Certification (or those with SPED Certification and relevant EC experience).
• Resource educators for both elementary and preschool-aged students.

Desired background and certifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher Certification.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• For behavioral program: CPI certification and behavioral program experience highly preferred.
• Early Childhood Certification or significant EC classroom experience for preschool setting.
• Ability to manage and differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication skills, collaboration with classroom staff and families, and dedication to inclusive education practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction and individualized support to students with various learning profiles.
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
• Engage in professional development and maintain compliance with district and state standards.
