Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your specialized education, training, and experience to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, enabling the formulation of accurate diagnoses for a diverse range of patients.

• Collaborate with patients to co-create personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs and goals, ensuring a patient-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, and motivational interviewing to encourage positive behavioral change.

• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians within the Walmart Health & Wellness network to facilitate holistic treatment approaches for our patients.

• Monitor patient progress systematically, whether in person or through telehealth sessions, by tracking responses to treatment and adjusting plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.

• Support medication management initiatives by monitoring adherence, evaluating side effects, and assessing overall effectiveness, in partnership with prescribing medical professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other psychological conditions. Many patients may also present with co-occurring medical issues, making an integrated approach to care essential. Your role will be crucial in guiding them toward recovery by providing culturally competent, empathetic support tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as an independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed therapist, with demonstrated skills in providing mental health services.
