Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental and emotional needs.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring these plans align with best practices in children's developmental support.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and outcomes, ensuring that every child receives the appropriate level of care and support.
\n
• Develop strong rapport with children, families, and team members to foster a supportive and healthy learning environment.
\n
• Provide coaching and support to families, enhancing their skills and knowledge to promote their child’s development through natural learning environments.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to create individualized strategies that cater to the unique needs of each child.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations governing social work practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on infants and toddlers facing developmental delays or disabilities. You will work directly with families to assess their child’s needs and provide early intervention strategies that support their growth in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your work will not only enhance individual child development but also bolster family dynamics, fostering a supportive network that empowers parents.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Current licensure as an LCSW through the Department of Public Health.

• At least one year of professional experience working with children in an early intervention context.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to adapt messages to suit diverse audiences.

• A valid driver's license is required to facilitate travel for any onsite assessments if necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n
