Description

• Assess patients across varied demographics—pediatric, adult, and geriatric—leveraging both standardized assessments and time-honored observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that meet both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language structure, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing intricacies.
• Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, pooling efforts to create comprehensive care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to foster progress that continues beyond our clinical encounters.
• Support inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when needed, ensuring that the care journey remains seamless.
• Document all relevant information accurately and timely, adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to professional growth by staying abreast of the latest developments through ongoing education and teamwork.

Education

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire.
