Business Development Executive
The Buffalo News, a publication of Lee Enterprises, is seeking an energetic, skilled sales executive to drive digital multi-media account growth for new and existing accounts through prospecting, developing, and closing leads using a variety of sources. Lee offers a vast array of digital marketing products, tools and partners to meet advertising needs of any current or future client. We are the fastest growing digital subscription platform in the nation for four years running. Position Responsibilities
•Achieve sales goals through creative sales strategies; performing extensive client discovery interviews, meeting with decision makers, listening and documenting clients' marketing needs/concerns and recommending appropriate solutions in a deadline-based environment.
•Work extensively with local business owners to develop advertising plans to help expand their business
•Will present marketing solutions in areas to include: print media, banner display, targeted, search engine optimization, and social media platforms just to name a few
•Ability to cold call and prospect for new advertisers using phone, email and face to face meetings
•This vital position will collaborate with Digital Sales Specialists, Sales Managers, Creatives Services, and Account Coordinators to create and deliver advertising solutions to our clients Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
•3 or more years in Sales, preferably in Digital Advertising but not required
•Demonstrated experience in expanding and growing sales revenue through existing and new business
•Experience with current digital advertising technology and 3rd party research skills such as Google Analytics Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 annual base salary plus potential to earn monthly and quarterly bonus Why Join Us?
