This remote position allows for flexibility in work hours, with options for standard business hours or occasional evening shifts, depending on your schedule and client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify each client's unique mental health needs, culminating in tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering their recovery.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families. Approaches can include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other modalities adapted to client preferences and issues.

• Engage in regular collaboration with a diverse team of professionals ensuring clients receive coordinated care that addresses all aspects of their well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, employing your expertise and compassion to guide them towards stability and safety.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues, thus promoting overall wellness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Valor Center serves a wide array of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Our goal is to provide culturally competent care, ensuring that therapy is respectful of and relevant to the diverse experiences of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse clientele.
\n
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity, effectively working with individuals from a variety of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy delivery, showcasing comfort with digital communication in a clinical context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
