Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor with Joyful Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your counseling practice will serve a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of stable adults with low acuity needs. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following educational and licensing requirements:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Hold an active, unrestricted license to practice independently without supervision, including one of the following:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Licensed Psychologist
\n
• Licensed Psychoanalyst

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to empathize with and support clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for counseling processes.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth or virtual counseling platforms is preferred. Familiarity with mental health treatment approaches and methodologies that align with teletherapy practices will be advantageous in delivering effective care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role comes with a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, full-time counselors will receive:
