This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our dynamic team. Although you will primarily engage with clients online, you may also participate in in-office activities at our outpatient facility in Jersey City when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, particularly MBSR techniques, to assist clients in achieving stress reduction, relaxation, and improved mental health.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing interventions accordingly.
\n
• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathwork to enhance self-awareness, emotional regulation, and overall mental health stability.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to specifically address clients' mental health concerns and facilitate their personal growth journey.
\n
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to weave mindfulness practices into a holistic treatment approach.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation pertaining to clients’ progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans to adhere to best practices and regulatory standards.

• Regularly engage in personal mindfulness practice and professional development to enhance expertise in MBSR and other therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients from varying backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to stress-related disorders. The emphasis on mindfulness-based interventions allows you to support individuals seeking to improve their mental wellness and cultivate coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Some experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic practices.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster a calming and supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience providing therapy or counseling in a clinical setting.

• Previous experience delivering mindfulness-based treatment modalities is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
