About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its mission of transforming the consumer products industry into a force for good. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the CEO, with a focus on re-rating the company, owning the equity story, and leading on financial strategy. This role is not for the faint of heart; it requires a leader who is unafraid of the hard work and is deeply committed to the dual goals of financial success and positive impact. The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of the financial function, including capital markets, investor relations, and managing the company's growth and operations. A key aspect of the role is to steward the balance sheet, keep the company liquid, and lead a lean, high-trust, AI-native finance team. The successful CFO will have a background as a public company CFO or a senior finance executive with a proven track record in a similar role. They should be adept at holding the room in front of investors, analysts, and lenders, and have experience in negotiating and managing financial relationships. The role demands a leader who can think in terms of DTC economics, customer cohorts, and is passionate about the intersection of business and social responsibility. The CFO will be expected to take cost out of the core business, instill a culture of frugality, and lead the company in a way that demonstrates that doing good and being a great investment can go hand in hand.
