Key Responsibilities\n

• Oversee the clinical care provided to patients, ensuring optimal therapeutic strategies are implemented with proficiency and empathy.

• Conduct individualized or group therapy sessions, performing detailed assessments and preparing comprehensive treatment logs for each client.
\n
• Manage a diverse caseload of patients presenting a variety of psychological needs, through expert evaluation and intervention.
\n
• Demonstrate advanced diagnostic skills and collaborate effectively with patients and families to establish and implement tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Utilize clinical skills to counsel patients and their families, respond to crises, and deliver effective therapeutic interventions tailored to specific situations.
\n
• Provide personalized counseling services, including individual, conjoint, or family therapy, and, when necessary, refer clients to specialized professionals for further assistance.
\n
• Assess the psychological needs of patients in collaboration with primary care providers to develop effective action plans and monitor progress with regular evaluations.
\n
• Conduct mental health evaluations and document findings within the structured care framework, developing and updating strategy outlines and progress summaries as necessary.
\n
• Deliver educational programs to clients and families, providing essential support and guidance throughout their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals. This diverse patient population allows for a dynamic and rewarding experience as counselors employ various therapeutic techniques suited to different ages, backgrounds, and psychological conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical setting is necessary to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years in a clinical setting is required, candidates with experience in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and group therapy facilitation will be given preference. Advanced knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems is also beneficial to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.
