This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, analyzing variances, and helping ensure compliance with GAAP standards. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will support financial reporting, account analysis, reconciliations, and budgeting processes while partnering with leadership and operational teams across the organization. Financial Reporting – Prepare, review, and analyze monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts. Variance Analysis – Review divisional financial statements, analyze budget versus actual variances, and provide reporting insights. Fixed Asset Management – Maintain fixed asset records and process disposals, depreciation, and related journal entries. General Ledger Oversight – Assist with financial analysis, account reclassifications, and resolving unusual or incorrect entries. Budgeting & Forecasting – Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities across departments. Cost Allocation – Maintain accurate inter-company transactions, payroll accruals, and cost coding processes. Expense Tracking – Monitor prepaid expenses and allocate costs appropriately across reporting periods. Bank Reconciliations & Compliance – Review reconciliations, sales tax filings, commissions, accruals, and month-end close activities Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with operational teams and leadership to support business objectives and financial decision-making. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. Experience with accounting software and financial management systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Strong communication skills and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis preferred.
