Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education techniques, and rehabilitation services addressing activities of daily living (ADLs) and prosthetic training.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding care plans, treatment procedures, and home exercise regimens to enhance patient compliance and understanding.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, which may include physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, or foreign equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits
