Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs, impairment levels, and functional status.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific diagnoses, including orthopedic issues.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Employ a holistic health model by integrating various modalities and techniques to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Actively engage with patients, demonstrating effective communication skills to provide education and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an outpatient Physical Therapist specializing in home care, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to care, as you will often be the primary point of contact for patients during their rehabilitation process, guiding them towards regaining independence and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Current Physical Therapy License in the state of California.
• CPR Certification is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in an outpatient setting, specifically with a focus on orthopedics is a plus.

• Expertise in Pelvic Floor rehabilitation is a significant asset, as we aim to expand our services in this area.
• Experience with patient-centric communication and a strong ability to listen and respond constructively to patient feedback.

• Competency in effective time management and patient workflow optimization.

Compensation and Benefits

Your hard work and dedication will be valued, reflected in a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer comprehensive health benefits including health and life insurance, as well as a flexible schedule to promote work-life balance. You can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with an 8-hour shift schedule.
