Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Orthopedic Outpatient Care

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Meridian Shine Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in Santa Ana, California. Work Environment

This role operates primarily in an onsite environment, specifically focusing on home care settings, ensuring that treatments can be tailored to meet individual patient needs. The role is full-time, with a structured schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a work-life balance that allows therapists to provide dedicated care without the strain of extended hours or weekend obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and establish effective treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour to ensure high-quality, personalized attention.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating various therapeutic techniques.
• Monitor and assess patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to improve their physical health.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment modalities, and progress notes accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to coordinate effective patient care.
• Promote best practices aimed at preventing injuries and advocating for proactive health management.
• Explore alternative treatments to reduce reliance on medications and lower the necessity for surgical interventions when possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work closely with a diverse demographic, tailoring care approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient, facilitating their return to maximum functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Licensed to practice as a physical therapist in California, with a clean record free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong grasp of manual therapy techniques and proficiency in developing tailored exercise regimens.
• Experience in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of three years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Proven track record of delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care with successful rehabilitation outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals to strengthen treatment plans and support patient journeys.

Compensation and Benefits
