Our practice is distinguished for its commitment to patient-centered therapy, utilizing advanced techniques in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our team consists of expert professionals, including two skilled physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all collaborating to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

You will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, which is designed to provide a welcoming and therapeutic environment. The team dynamic is supportive and encourages collaboration among therapists to share knowledge, techniques, and interventions that benefit our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify individual goals and rehabilitation needs, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload averaging one patient per hour, providing dedicated attention to each individual's treatment process.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapies, encompassing movement analysis, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise, tailored to each patient's diagnosis.
• Develop and modify fitness and wellness programs that align with patient objectives, promoting health and physical activity.
• Network with other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary approaches and ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate changes effectively to patients and referring physicians.
• Document patient care services accurately and in compliance with EMR software, including WebPT, to maintain high-quality records and facilitate communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to patients covered by private medical insurance, allowing for a focused approach to orthopedic rehabilitation. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals recovering from surgery, and those with chronic conditions affecting their physical capabilities. Your role is crucial in helping these patients regain mobility, strength, and a healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in California without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, essential for handling varied patient conditions effectively.
• Experience with EMR systems, such as WebPT, for effective documentation and healthcare management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized exercise programs based on patient evaluations and progress.

Compensation and Benefits
