Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our outpatient clinic, which provides a collaborative environment for our physical therapy team. You will work alongside two other licensed physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a team-based approach to patient care. The facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation equipment and technology designed to facilitate optimal treatment outcomes, promoting an efficient workflow and ensuring comprehensive patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their individual goals and therapy needs in a healthcare setting.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, maintaining a focus on one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Deliver cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at enhancing patients' movement, mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Offer alternative therapeutic solutions to surgical interventions and minimize medication reliance where feasible.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, reinforcing their commitment to recovery.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment results, and communicate adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes, sharing insights and treatment strategies.
• Maintain an accurate and detailed record of patient treatments and progress according to clinic protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with patients recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions by a licensing board.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with patients and encourage adherence to treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
• Expertise in developing customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to varying patient needs.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
