Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, providing a collaborative environment where you will work closely with a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and establish clear treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient use of time while delivering personalized care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that include a diverse range of therapeutic techniques.
• Promote patient self-efficacy by encouraging adherence to treatment plans and motivating them throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Evaluate and document patient progress, adjusting treatment interventions as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach towards patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all services rendered in line with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic injuries and conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. The majority of our patients have private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering high-quality care that prioritizes the individual needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to meet the educational standards for this role.
• Must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Applicants should have a clean record without any instances of disciplinary action against their license.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Strong skills in developing and overseeing exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan options, and paid time off.
