Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a litigation associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its Proposition 65 practice in Palo Alto, CA. This role is part of the Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions group and requires admission to practice in California. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and motions. Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative case strategies. Participate in court hearings, depositions, and trials. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Engage in professional development and community involvement. Requirements 2-4 years of direct and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 firm. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Good business and professional judgment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Education: JD degree from an accredited law school. Certification: Admitted to practice in California. Skills: Attention to detail and organizational skills; persuasive communication and management skills; conceptual thinking and ability to work under pressure.
