Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments, providing a thorough understanding of each client’s needs.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans, tailoring interventions to address the unique challenges faced by each client.

• Lead therapeutic group sessions for clients in various settings, focusing on skill-building and mutual support.

• Document all sessions accurately and comprehensively, including therapeutic progress and treatment modifications.

• Collaborate with correctional services and other institutional programs to enhance treatment access and continuity of care.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional skills and ensure the highest quality of care.

• Engage in case conferences and treatment planning meetings to facilitate multidisciplinary approaches to client care.

• Potentially oversee interns or student volunteers, contributing to their professional growth and development.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as designated by clinical leadership to support organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with incarcerated individuals who seek mental health support. This population often presents a complex array of psychological issues, including behavioral problems, histories of substance use, and severe mental illnesses. Your expertise will be vital in providing culturally sensitive and appropriate interventions that foster recovery and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in direct patient care within a behavioral health setting, with a focus on assessment and treatment.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience providing comprehensive mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
