Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, establishing rapport and gathering historical and current behavioral health information from clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable objectives, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities appropriate for each client’s situation.
\n
• Monitor client progress, adapting intervention strategies based on ongoing evaluations and therapeutic feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and healthcare professionals, to create cohesive treatment plans, addressing multifaceted needs of clients.

• Provide essential follow-up care for clients post-hospitalization, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care.

• Support families and caregivers by offering education and resources for managing mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a wide array of clients, from adolescents to seniors, who present with various psychological and emotional challenges. You will work closely with those experiencing severe mental health conditions, everyday life stressors, or family dynamics that need attention. Conducting sessions remotely allows you to reach clients from various backgrounds and geographical areas.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to connect meaningfully with clients.
\n
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, and proficiency in documentation practices.
\n
• Experience addressing physical health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorders.
\n
• Understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices in clinical work.
\n
• Knowledge of pharmacology and the impact of prescribed medications on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
