Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions where clients can safely share their experiences, learn from one another, and build a supportive network.

• Individual Counseling: Provide tailored and empathetic individual therapy aimed at helping clients explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress through various evaluation tools and feedback methods to ensure treatment efficacy.

• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, coordinating effectively and consulting on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults who may be facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and transitional life challenges. You will provide a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can work through their issues openly and constructively, encouraging resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients dealing with mood disorders in various settings, including outpatient.

• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to fostering positive change for clients and within the team environment.

• Strong clinical skills, including experience with motivation interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and thorough documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in working with a diverse range of clients and familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote counseling. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or modalities will be considered an asset, as will experience with program development and group therapy.
