Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Enlightened Pathways, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's unique situation.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that highlight their therapy goals, preferences, and lifestyles.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), effectively tailoring techniques to meet individual needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them on their healing journeys.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and integrated mental health care.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mood disorder treatment, participating in continual learning to refine your skills and approaches.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting understanding and de-stigmatization around mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will interact with a wide range of clients, offering individualized support and engaging them in therapeutic practices that foster recovery. A particular emphasis will be placed on developing a strong therapeutic rapport, ensuring clients feel heard, respected, and understood.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology principles to effectively coordinate with psychiatrists for optimal patient care.

• A proven track record of positive outcomes in managing clients with mood disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to empathize with and relate to clients from various backgrounds.
