This remote position allows counselors to create a flexible work environment while connecting with clients in an outpatient setting. Strong proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems will be essential to maintain accurate patient records and enhance the therapeutic process.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through detailed interviews and clinical evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Design and implement evidence-based treatment strategies for clients facing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Patient Engagement: Maintain consistent and supportive communication with clients, tracking their progress, and adjusting therapy techniques as needed to foster healing and growth.

• Collaborative Care: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic treatment plans that encompass all aspects of the clients’ mental and physical health.

• Crisis Intervention: Utilize your crisis intervention skills effectively, remaining composed during challenging situations, and providing necessary resources and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Therapeutic Mind Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents and adults dealing with various mental health issues. Our patient population encompasses those affected by anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, grief, and substance abuse. You will have the opportunity to deliver individual and group therapy sessions, using culturally responsive approaches that resonate with each client’s unique background and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state license as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse populations.
\n
• Strong theoretical knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
