Business Development Manager

Responsibilities Build and maintain high‑trust relationships with senior stakeholders across retailers, food service, cold chain, logistics, and warehouse operators. Engage across all organizational levels, from technicians and facility managers to executive leadership, to understand operational challenges and strategic priorities. Influence customer strategy by articulating value around refrigerant transition, sustainability, operational complexity, and total cost of ownership. Act as a connector across the ecosystem (food retailers, OEMs, contractors, partners) to accelerate adoption of Solstice solutions. Identify emerging market trends, regulatory shifts, and customer needs, acting as the voice of the market to internal stakeholders. Partner with strategic marketing, R&D, sales, and technical teams to translate market insight into actionable strategies. Support embedding Solstice solutions into customer and OEM roadmaps and long‑term planning. Build and grow a project pipeline through end‑user engagement and industry collaboration. Represent Solstice in industry associations, trade events, and working groups to drive visibility and thought leadership. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of experience in the HVACR industry. Established network across retailers, cold chain/logistics operators, contractors, and/or refrigeration OEMs. Strong ability to engage with both technical and executive stakeholders. Solid understanding of refrigeration systems, market dynamics, and customer operating environments. Ability to translate operational realities into strategic discussions and value‑based conversations. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
