Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine client needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop complex, individualized treatment and discharge plans for clients dealing with dual diagnoses and a spectrum of social or mental health issues.

• Provide evidence-based counseling services, utilizing therapeutic modalities that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

• Act as a professional resource for team members in resolving intricate case problems and offer clinical supervision to junior staff as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders, often accompanied by co-occurring mental health conditions. This population often presents with a high level of psychological and emotional complexity, requiring a nuanced understanding of dual diagnosis treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in crisis intervention and mental health management.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is mandatory.

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
