Senior Platform Software Engineer - Kubernetes

Salary: $92,500 - 209,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• We expect 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a track record of shipping production-grade distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
• We need strong programming ability in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar.
• We look for experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures with a focus on scalability, availability, security, and operability.
• We value a solid understanding of cloud-native systems, including containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering.
• We want someone who demonstrates ownership from problem framing through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing support.
• We require clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.
• Experience with application deployment platforms, continuous delivery, GitOps, artifact management, or developer platform engineering is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, multi-tenant cloud services, control planes, or workflow orchestration is a plus.
• Experience in site reliability engineering, production incident response, observability, or capacity and performance engineering is a plus.
• Experience in security engineering, identity and access management, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, or compliance automation is a plus.
