Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaboratively design individualized treatment plans that align with the unique requirements, goals, and preferences of clients.

• Employ evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to drive client progress.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster empowerment and understanding.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care that enhances the therapeutic experience.

• Stay current with research developments in mood disorders and therapy best practices to continuously improve treatment strategies.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in accordance with HIPAA and other legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development programs for ongoing learning and growth.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and help to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
