We are seeking an energetic, highly organized Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‐paced legal environment, enjoys taking initiative, and is committed to delivering exceptional work.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare professional correspondence
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents
- Prepare motions and Orders to Show Cause for filing and service
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, deadlines, and events
- Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism
- Perform general clerical and administrative tasks
- Maintain and organize physical case files
- Handle travel coordination and related logistics
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience required
- Experience in litigation and/or transactional/real estate law
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Knowledge of Westlaw Drafting Assistant, Case Notebook, or Sage TimeSlips is a plus
- Ability to navigate and e‐file on PACER/ECF and NYSCEF
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
