This contract opportunity calls for experienced, compassionate paraprofessionals ready to contribute to a variety of educational settings, ranging from elementary to high school and transition services. Successful candidates will be adaptable and ready to work with different age groups, possibly at multiple school sites, depending on district assignments.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 full year working in SPED (Special Education) classrooms
• Significant/severe caseload experience highly preferred
• Must provide 2 completed Professional RefAssured References—submissions without these cannot be considered
• Reliable personal transportation required (public transit or rideshares not accepted)
• Ability to report by 7:40am (elementary) or 8:00am (middle/high schools)
• Willingness to assist students with toileting and diapering, as needed
• Clean background: fingerprinting required post-offer; any felony or misdemeanor charges will result in district rejection
• Candidates must include their current location when applying

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct classroom support to students, under the direction of school staff
• Flexibly adapt to possible reassignment to different school sites and age groups
• Provide one-on-one or group support, depending on caseload and school assignment
• Follow district and school policies and procedures
• Assist educators in implementing individualized support and behavior plans

Position Details:

• Contract position running from August 11th through May 21st, 2027
• Assignments may include elementary, middle, high school, or transition services (ranging from 34-37.5 hours/week)
