Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual assessments to understand each client's mental health status and challenges, establishing a safe and therapeutic rapport.

• Create personalized therapy plans focusing on evidence-based treatment methods, tailoring approaches to fit individual needs.

• Engage with clients through regular sessions to monitor progress, providing guidance and strategies to facilitate improvement.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes comprehensively and accurately.

• Coordinate care by referring clients to additional healthcare providers such as psychiatrists or support groups when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse array of clients who are facing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and eating disorders. You will engage with individuals from different cultural backgrounds, necessitating a culturally competent approach to therapy that respects and acknowledges the unique experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and active license to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• At least four years of clinical experience working in mental health counseling settings.

• A strong understanding of a variety of mental health disorders and knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods.
