We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at the Holistic Counseling & Wellness Center. This role will primarily focus on providing empathetic support and therapeutic services to individuals and families navigating end-of-life care and related emotional challenges in a remote hospice setting. As an LCSW, you will play a critical role in promoting mental wellness, facilitating access to community resources, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance—core values of our organization. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes healthcare professionals, counselors, and administrative staff during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 7 PM. We offer two shift options to accommodate various lifestyles: a four-day workweek (4x10) or a traditional five-day workweek (5x8).

Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, group, couple, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote mental well-being.
\n
• Conducting thorough interviews with clients to gather and interpret social, personal, environmental, and health information.
\n
• Evaluating and diagnosing client issues, implementing treatment plans within your scope of practice.
\n
• Coordinating and planning therapeutic programs to address clients’ emotional and social needs.
\n
• Facilitating cognitive, emotional, and behavioral interventions, including crisis management and community resource referrals.
\n
• Establishing and maintaining trusting relationships with clients to foster a supportive therapy environment.
\n
• Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment interventions and adapting strategies as necessary based on client progress.
\n
• Documenting findings and client interactions accurately and adhering to established protocols for case management.
\n
• Maintaining a manageable caseload while ensuring case documentation is current and reflective of services provided.
\n
• Participating in continuous professional development and supervision as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing terminal illnesses, grief, loss, and the psychological challenges that come with transitioning toward hospice care. This involves addressing complex emotional issues and providing supportive counseling to clients and their families during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
\n
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and ethical standards in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the following experiences are preferred:

• At least four years of experience in a clinical or counseling role, particularly within behavioral health settings.

• Prior experience working with clients suffering from mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, and family dynamics.

• Familiarity with hospice or end-of-life care settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
