Voice Recorder (Japanese + English)

Role Overview

Record high-quality Japanese-language audio that supports the training and evaluation of next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role combines structured sentence reading, controlled sound creation, written feedback, and careful adherence to linguistic and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record yourself reading Japanese sentences from a quiet office or a stationary vehicle.
• Create specified background sounds, including seatbelt clicks, door openings, and vehicle indicator signals, while the vehicle remains stationary and recordings are completed safely.
• Follow detailed linguistic and technical instructions to produce consistent, reliable language data.
• Submit high-quality audio recordings and any required written feedback.
• Coordinate remotely with project contacts to address questions, updates, and feedback on deliverables.
• Handle all recordings and submissions in accordance with confidentiality and ethical-use requirements.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese proficiency, including clear pronunciation and natural fluency.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Japanese and English at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to follow precise audio-quality and content requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage assigned work.
• Strong attention to pronunciation, background noise, and data accuracy.
• No previous AI experience is required.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
